What makes our private Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik special?

Our private Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik is curated wine experience. It is crafted to offer a deeper insight into one of Croatia's most respected wine regions, through carefully selected wineries, hand-picked tastings and expert guidance. The journey combines spectacular coastal and countryside landscapes, dramatic vineyards and some of the most distinctive wines of southern Croatia.

→ Private and flexible experience

Because the tour is private, the experience adapts to your interests, allowing time for conversations with winemakers, questions during tastings and moments to simply enjoy the landscapes of the Pelješac Peninsula.

Driver-guide with local knowledge

Your driver is also a licensed local guide who provides context throughout the journey, explaining the history of Pelješac, its wine traditions and the significance of the visited wineries.

This helps you understand what you are tasting and how the wines reflect the landscape and history of the region.

Wine knowledge and hand-picked tastings

Having completed the first level of sommelier training, your guide brings a deeper understanding of local grape varieties and winemaking traditions.

The tastings are selected to showcase the diversity of Pelješac wines, from white varieties such as Pošip, Grk and Rukatac to powerful expressions of iconic Plavac Mali, including wines from the renowned Dingač appellation.

 Carefully selected wineries

The tour includes visits to three of the most renowned wineries on the Pelješac Peninsula: Miloš in Ponikve, Grgić in Trstenik and Matuško in Potomje.

Each winery represents a different philosophy of winemaking and offers its own interpretation of the Pelješac terroir, allowing you to experience the diversity of styles found within the region.

Wine cellars of Pelješac

Visits to the wineries also include cellar tours ranging from traditional family cellars with large oak barrels to underground facilities and modern barrique ageing rooms. Each winery reveals a different chapter in the story of Pelješac winemaking.

The dramatic vineyards of Dingač

Part of the journey also includes a drive through the famous Dingač wine appellation, one of Croatia’s most valued vineyard sites.

This striking landscape is covered in steep terraced vineyards descending dramatically towards the Adriatic; a setting that helps explain the power and character of Plavac Mali wines.
