ISLAND KORCULA

------------- Day trip from Dubrovnik

Please note: all tours/trips are private - exclusive for your party and can be tailored to suit your preferences.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • pick up at the agreed time and location

  • approximately one-hour drive before our first stop

  • scenic drive accompanied by introduction to the history, everyday life, places of interest

  • twenty-minute boat ride to reach the island

  • duration: 8.5 hours approximately

Tour highlights: scenic coastal drive, Ston, boat ride, Korcula.

On a Dubrovnik to Korcula day trip, you will reach one of the most beautiful Croatian islands.

On our way to Korcula, after departing from Dubrovnik, we will visit Ston, a medieval town, known for its defensive wall and ancient saltworks. After you get acquainted with this little town, an one hour drive through the scenic wine growing peninsula of Peljesac will follow. Once we reach Orebic, we will board a passenger ferry and disembark in town Korcula on the island Korcula. We will stroll the narrow alleys of the medieval town and you will learn about its sights and history. Afterwards, you'll have free time.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Boat transportation is integral part of Korcula island day trip from Dubrovnik. The price of this tour covers the price of the public boat transportation hence the start time of the trip is subordinated to the boat's timetable.

  • Boat ride is rather short and pleasant, but some people get affected by the boat motion while being on the boat during boarding time.

  • There is only one (side) street without steps, which makes Korcula Old town not accessible.

  • Alleged Marco Polo's birth house is under restauration, the only part that can be visited for now is the tower with beautiful vista.

  • Korcula day trip from Dubrovnik can be combined with wine tasting / degustation of oysters / visit to Trsteno arboretum. Contact us for more info.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

"Luck...yes we were very lucky to have come across Julija on trip advisor. My visit would not have been as good. She is prompt, pleasant, very knowledgeable on where and what to do. She is engaged and will go out of her journey plan to make sure that her clients get what they are looking for. Highlight of the trips was having her take me around both Croatia and Montenegro. The experience of a life time was the Oyster farm... truly not to forget. People like her make you love her country. Looking forward for my next trip there.
